With EPiServer MobilePack you, as a website owner, can easily create your mobile website. EPiServer MobilePack is a free, open source add-on to EPiServer CMS 6 (R2). It’s a free set of templates that enable you to set up your own contextual mobile site in just minutes by reusing a lot of content from your desktop website.
With a few clicks you can duplicate your existing site content for a range of mobile devices. In the content management tree, you create a ‘child’ publication under your main ‘parent’ site. From there you can manage your mobile site to create pages that are mobile-specific while saving time by reusing content from your desktop website.

Managing your mobile website with EPiServer MobilePack is easy since all the functions are seamlessly integrated with the EPiServer CMS
MobilePack functions well across popular operating systems like iPhone and Android. For the time being, MobilePack is a free add-on to existing customers. Mobile content management will be standard in future versions of EPiServer CMS.
EPiServer MobilePack has a lot of functionality that will enable you to manage your mobile presence as easily as you do your desktop web presence. In other words, your mobile strategy doesn‘t have to be separate from your desktop site.
Mobile site
This page template should always be the foundation of any mobile web app built with EPiServer MobilePack. This is where you select the theme of your app; define contents of the start page, set up the footer menu and so on.
Standard page
This is the default mobile page. It will be loaded into the web app and it can display the main body, a form or Dynamic Content.
Image resizing
Any images in your content with a width that's greater than the device width will automatically be rescaled to fit the device browser.
List view
If you insert the Dynamic Content element called "MobilePack ListView" you'll get a mobile-friendly menu that lists all child-pages.
Customised buttons
You can create context sensitive buttons, for instance buttons that allows users to automatically dial a phone number.
Preview
When you are previewing the mobile site in Edit Mode you can select which resolution in which to preview it, in order to get an idea of how it will look on a mobile device.
Automatic redirection
You can use the personalisation feature to identify visitors coming from mobile browsers. EPiServer MobilePack detects if a person is visiting from a desktop or mobile internet connection and presents a device-optimised web experience.
