The brief:

Following a four-month digital strategic engagement to define the business case for change together, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) then appointed Fortune Cookie to undertake a three-year programme to transform the RICS into the leading global digital organisation for property professionals.

The work:

The transformation work began in December 2010 and includes the redevelopment of the web portal that will improve the brand experience and deepen engagement and affinity for RICS’ 80,000 members in the UK and more than 100,000 users worldwide.

The work will provide RICS with a new globally branded, multi-device digital channel that will incorporate content management, community, ecommerce, mobile and social media.

The content and functionality will support members at all stages of their career development across the globe. All members will be able to access the content whether on a dialup connection or broadband, mobile phone or tablet device.

The results:

The three-year transformation programme has only just kicked off. We will post regular updates on our progress during the programme of work.
